Assignment Title:  Menu Writing Project

What I learned:  In this assignment I learned how to create and incorporate different foods into a school menu.

Reflection to assignment:  This assignment was fun because I got to think up great meals that I wish I had gotten to eat when I was in school.  It was challenging to create a menu that had new options each day that students would enjoy.

Relevance to profession:  Food service administration is a very important part of the nutrition profession.  School food service is exceptionally important because this is the time when the students start shaping how they will eat in the future.  The skills taught through this assignment are important for any job in the nutrition profession.
