Experience at rotation:  During my rotation at Madera Community Hospital I was able to be involved in many aspects of hospital food service.  I participated in tray line, recorded the temperatures of 7 test trays to find the change in food temperature from tray line to patient, designed, created, and marketed 16 new parfaits, and gave two in-service presentations to the foodservice staff. 

How experience helped achieve career goals:  The activities that I participated in during this rotation really showed me what it would be like to be a foodservice manager in a hospital.  I was able to get a lot of hands-on experience which will help me in any food service setting.

Assignment title:  Write a 1-2 page report describing the quality management activities in which you participated, including recommendations for improvement and reasoning for these recommendations.  

Assignment description:  The paper attached below describes my experience temping patient meal trays and what recommendations I would make to increase patient satisfaction.
