Experience at rotation: Adventist Medical Center in Hanford was a big rotation for me because it was my first clinical rotation. Since it was my first clinical rotation I feel like I learned an incredible amount during my time there. I was able to work as part of a interdisciplinary team and one-on-one with patients. I was able to see patients with a variety of diseases and conditions with varying needs.
How experience helped achieve career goals: This rotation broadened my overall knowledge of clinical nutrition. It helped me understand what it is like to work in a hospital setting and it challenged me to push through uncomfortable situations. Learning and seeing so many new things during this rotation helped me grow as a future registered dietitian.
