Assignment Title: Case Study 2: Chronic Pancreatitis
What I learned: In this assignment I learned how to examine and research the pathophysiology of diseases, interpret lab values, determine kcal and protein needs, set intervention goals, calculate anthropometric data, and make medical nutrition therapy recommendations.
Reflection to assignment: This assignment made me realize all of the information that has to be taken into consideration before you can recommend medical nutrition therapy. Many factors effect clients like diet and lifestyle and have to be considered before giving useful medical nutrition therapy. It was fulfilling after all the research to determine an intervention and make medical nutrition therapy recommendations.
