Assignment Title:  Article for the Lay Public :  Acai Berry

What I learned:  In this assignment I learned interview skills and also how to write for an audience without nutrition education in comparison to writing for nutrition professionals.

Reflection to assignment:  It was interesting to do detective work on a hot topic and see what different responses you got from different people and from someone in the nutrition profession.  It was fun to write about a topic of your choosing.

Relevance to the profession:  Being able to communicate and write for nutrition professionals and for the public is an important skill for all areas of the nutrition profession.
